Few viewers could see the flare and battle today, and a match with lots of opportunities and excitement. The kings, although without five standard players: Zeba, Jovanović, Sarić, Aletić and Smajić, opened the match better and after a few attempts already in the 14th minute took the lead with a goal by Vidovic from penalty. Previously, Čolic tackled Asanovic.
Asanovic could have doubled the lead, but after his attempt to lobb Bandovic the ball went over the bar. Neither the guests were without chances, Svraka after the corner and Karić after a solo break shoot from good positions but Fejzić shined on both occasions with great saves to his net, so Metalleghe went to halftime with the advantage.
The second part was better opened by Olimpic and after a corner Uzelac in the 59th minute from 2 meters hit the ball in the net for 1:1. The same player was injured in the next action and had to leave the game. In the 68th minute, Olimpic had a chance to take the lead but a shoot from Svarka was defended masterfully by Fejzic. After 77 minutes, Benovic, after an excellent solo action, passed to Asanovic who went into the penalty area, but wasted a good position to shoot. Mahović returned with a shot. Vidovic also tried twice to beat Bandovic but the goalkeeper stopped his strikes.
In the end, exactly 89 in the minute, great drama ocurres. Deak and Pehar were in the duel, the ball came to Karić, who missed a chance and after that Valjic showed the penalty. There was a terrible protest by the Kings particularly at the Assistant Judge who raised and lowered the flag. No effect, but the shoot from Karić was saved by Fejzić. After the last referee’s whistle, there was a crowd at the center where the guests surrounded the judges, while goalkeeper Bandović tried to hit our coach, but after the intervention of the policemen in this situation it did not escalate into a bigger incident.
